RIDING IN CARS WITH BOYS by Beverly Donofrio

I had seen this movie a while back and liked it so I bought the book.  It's a true bio about a young girl who becomes pregnant and married the father and they both have some growing up to do.  She finally leaves him after their son is born and she becomes promiscuous.  She lives on welfare and manages to get her college paid for and becomes a writer.
