Just finished this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It actually had me laughing aloud. It had a very interesting story line and I loved all the characters.

We celebrated Christopher's 9th birthday last night.

I got about 1/4 through this book and decided it was stupid so I threw it in the waste can. I guess that blows my theory that you CAN tell a book by it's cover. I sure thought this would be good from the way it's cover looked. I felt bad about pitching it out but life is too short to waste it on uninteresting books. You can't really look inside the book.

OLD PHOTO

I was always intrigued with this photo of my Grandpa Maurice and his two little boys, Albert and Leo (my Dad). So funny that they have big bows and ruffles. Grandpa died in 1908 way before I was born.

Just finished "The Slide" by Kyle Beachy. Since he's from St. Louis, the book had a lot about this area and also about the Cardinal games in it, but still I think it's more of a "man's book".

ALL SOULS DAY MASS

Last night we went to the local cemetery to see the All Soul's Day Mass there in the dark. They had candles with bags over them at every tombstone. It was really eerie to see.
