MAMA'S KITCHEN
I'm thankful for my cozy home With thermostats in every room. The frost I see is in the yard... Are not my windows Thermo-guard?
But oh, sometimes it would be good If just once more my feet could race 'Cross chilly floors to that warm place Where biscuits baked and apples stewed, oatmeal cooked and coffee brewed, And best of all -- where Mama stood!
Across the years I will walk with you in deep green forests, on shores of sand, and when our time on earth is through, in heaven, too, you will have my hand.
My husband and I have 4 daughters, Cris, Kerry, Susan, Jennifer, and 10 grandchildren. I have an identical twin sister.

Ain't that the truth - oh to wake up on the weekends to strange music playing and possibly dad's head sticking in my doorway saying, 'Tennis?'.
That makes me cry. I don't think I have ever seen you with your hair like that.

You look like a cross between karlee and kelsey at that table. such a cute picture of gramma, too.
...HEY, dad never asked ME to play tennis >:o I think that started after I moved out.
Yes I have that poem on a little box in my kitchen. Seems so so long ago.
