I was published!
Here in this new book about the Admiral in St. Louis. Since my twin and my pictures were chosen (there were 62 chosen from over 500 so that's pretty good) we got to go pick up our free book and have it signed by the author, Joe Holleman.
Oh, Mammy, that is amazing. Where did you hear about doing that? That is such a perfect picture to use (of Cris) showing the band in the background and all. I don't think I ever saw that other picture. So funny. The Admiral was such a big memory for me as a child.
Across the years I will walk with you in deep green forests, on shores of sand, and when our time on earth is through, in heaven, too, you will have my hand.
My husband and I have 4 daughters, Cris, Kerry, Susan, Jennifer, and 10 grandchildren. I have an identical twin sister.

Susan it was in the Post Dispatch asking for people to send in their memories they had of the Admiral to be published in this book.
